This looks interesting: No TOSHIBA prefix but some unusual suffix which is right aligned to the 40 char field.

Is this device possibly an OEM version or behind some special controller which modifies its identify string?

It's on a ThinkSystem, came with the box, so probably Lenovo rebranded. From the original invoice:
ThinkSystem 3.5" 12TB 7.2K SATA 6Gb Hot Swap 512e HDD

Toshiba lists it on their website:
