The device returns success. This suggests that device simply ignores this command.

Note that this S.M.A.R.T. DISABLE AUTOMATIC OFF-LINE (-o off) command is an optional feature introduced by original SFF-8035i 2.0 Spec (1996). It was obsoleted in ATA/ATAPI-4 (1998). Modern devices may simply ignore this command silently. The same may apply to DISABLE OPERATION (-s off) and DISABLE ATTRIBUTE AUTOSAVE (-S off).
