Description
Previous ticket #1734 documented attribute 252 as "Newly Added Bad Flash Block" for Samsung 870 EVOs.
Previous ticket sources were forum post quoting wikipedia and drivedb entry for Xcel-10 SSDs. Wikipedia source is 2015 hddguardian archive entry for same Xcel-10 SSDs.
Attribute 252 was added to 870 EVOs with firmware update in 2022.
Attaching Samsung Magician SMART output csv where it remains Vendor Specific.
Note that 252 count is 118 while reserved blocks used remains 0.
Recommend removing "Newly Added Bad Flash Block" from drivedb entry unless it can be confirmed to avoid misleading users.
