Hi chrfranke,
you close all my Tickets related to SAS drives. But it looks like you will add SAS featues in 6.7 (see ticket #870), so the linked FAQ is obsolete, more or less, because you will need information about SAS drives.
So why you closed my tickets? IMHO maybe its better to create a dependency to #870 instead of closing this.

This ticket does not provide any information about possible support of ATA-like SMART Attributes in Seagate SAS drives. Ticket #870 is specific to WDC SAS drives.
Do Seagate SAS drives actually provide such SMART Attributes?
If yes, please create a new ticket and provide related documentation or patch.
