Ok, its a SM based SSD, according to the http://www.poweredbymushkin.com/index.php/catalog/item/44-reactor/1165-reactor-256gb-7mm.html#specifications.

According to the web site all models are SM based.

I just pulled in and compile the latest, and compiled on debian 8
jessie. It does indeed find the device in question. Thanks!
However, it does not find the MKNSSDTR500GB. I will file a new bug for
that.
