This is the SCSI view of the drive which does not provide any useful diagnostics. Please try with smartctl -d sat -x -a /dev/sde and attach the output here.

Then this device does not support SAT. It likely uses a USB to flash controller without a detour via ATA or NVMe.

If none of the -d usb* or -d snt* (see smartctl man page) options work, possibly existing vendor specific diagnostics cannot be read by smartctl.

Do you have any evidence (e.g. output from a vendor specific tool) that any diagnostics is supported?
