There is also a detailed manual available for this module. Unfortunately this is too big for the ticket upload (4MB). Please download here: https://www.rosch-computer.de/prodDetail.jsp?pi=FL-EDC%201SE2%20Horizontal Thank you!

Hello,
I'm sorry to have to reopen this.
smartctl still shows the same output.
The only difference is that the SSD now shows as existing in the database.

Device is: In smartctl database 7.3/5319

Shouldn't things look different and the smart function work now?

The output still only works with

smartctl -xT very permissive

You can find detailed information about the implementation of the card's SMART commands in the link below starting on page 62: https://www.rosch-computer.de/file.jsp?aid=9806&sku=FL-EDC+1SE2+Horizontal

comment:10 by Christian Franke, 10 months ago

The new output is as expected. Unknown_Attribute is no longer printed.

The other commands fail because the device only supports a very limited subset of the ATA SMART Feature Set. This is obvious from the provided specification. For example, the important command SMART READ LOG is not mentioned. This needs to be fixed by the drive vendor.

This is unrelated to the drive database. See also the FAQ.
