Description
Hi
Can I request add support for NVME admin commands (other than identify)
and nvme commands such as dataset management or write uncorrectable?
If it is not in the road map for smartctl
I can also try using the source to generate this support on my end.

Hi,
smartmontools is not NVMe management tool, but mostly "disk health diagnostic" toolbox. Adding dataset management commands may cause dataloss in case of wrong command keys, etc. Also there are enough existing tools to manager NVMe devices, so i do not see why thats should be done in smartmontools. What sounds more interesting - is to add support for the vendor-specific log pages, containing some additional information. See existing tickets if you want to contribute or create a new one.
