    1 Hmm....can get the script to work. The timeout it not set.
    2 How do you add logging to "99-test_mdadm-smartctl-timeouts.rules" e.g. something like:

    5 logger -t "udev" "Calling /etc/udev/rules.d/smartctl-timeouts_possibly-redundant-disk.sh $devnode"
    6 }}}

    8 Oh ya, just add it to the .sh file of course
     1Their also seem to be errors in, at least, smartctl-timeouts_possibly-redundant-disk.sh. Get an error 1 in journal.
