I use smartmoontools to monitor the state of the disks on my servers and the nvme disks give an error on zabbix that the disk wearout is <30% (100-0 threshold values specified by the manufacturer).

IIRC there were some reports about SSDs with buggy firmware which return too large degradation or (even worse) retire flash cells to early. If a firmware update is available for this drive, it is possibly recommended to install it.
