Realised that, only noticed after reading that ticket, I think. GSmartControl still ships with outdated versions of smartctl, hence the initial confusion. Didn't realise I could edit the ticket's title as well, would've done so if I knew.

smartctl -i
makes no mention of TRIM support. I assume that means there isn't TRIM (it doesn't show up in CrystalDiskInfo either, as with most Toshiba SMR drives). Unless I'm doing it wrong.

Yes, then there is no TRIM support reported by the drive. Smartctl 7.2 reports TRIM Command: Unavailable
only if a SSD is detected.

Note that these apply to the 6.6 version of the database. Newer versions seem to already have the HDWL110 family, but not the P300 SMR one.
